Please join us at this exciting Women’s Environmental Network event to learn how the Circular Economy benefits business and the environment. Discover specific ways to immediately participate in the Circular Economy at home, in your community and at your organizations. A light dinner will be served, courtesy of Café Organica at Aveda.

 

Speakers include

EliseElise L. Amel is Professor of Psychology and Environmental Studies at the University of St. Thomas. Professor Amel has published peer-reviewed conference papers, journal publications, book chapters, and a textbook, Psychology for Sustainability, integrating sustainability into the teaching of psychology. She currently directs the GALE Office of Sustainability Initiatives, which runs the Sustainable Communities Partnership (SCP) linking St. Thomas courses across disciplines to city-identified, high-priority sustainability and quality of life projects, advancing the common good by engaging students in real-world application of course content.

 

PamelaPamela J. Gordon is a Senior Consultant at Antea Group, CEO of Technology Forecasters Inc. and author of Lean and Green: Profit for Your Workplace and the Environment. At Antea Group, Pamela creates and implements profitable environmental sustainability strategies for products, services, and operations — specializing in the electronics and apparel industries. She thrives on working collaboratively with her clients and colleagues around the world to bridge technology with business, profitability with responsibility, and competition with sustainability.

Pamela is a certified Climate Reality Leader, graduate of the Circular Economy 100 Executive Course, judge for The CleanTech Open, and chair of the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative’s 2017 Eco-Design team.
