Join the Women’s Environmental Network Thursday, June 20th, for a members-only event at Urban Growler, the first women-owned microbrewery in Minnesota and the Midway Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year 2019!
Urban Growler Brewing Co.
2325 Endicott St.
St. Paul, MN 55114
Aside from being women-owned and brewing delicious beer, Urban Growler has a focus on community with numerous partnerships (Urban Growler Farmer’s Market starting June 30th!) and an eye on sustainability. In their Plow to Pint series, they use ingredients harvested from local farmers to create unique brews with a twist – e.g. Blueberry Wheat feat. blueberries from Princeton, MN; Oak Aged Imperial Ale using grapes grown outside Red Wing, MN; a collaboration with the University of Minnesota and the Rainforest Alliance in Guatemala to create a stour using the sustainable ramon nut; and the current Plow to Pint – a Honey IPA using honey from Bare Honey’s local bees.
The event will feature a tour of Urban Growler’s brewing facility, networking with other WEN supporters, light food, and a complimentary drink ticket. Attendees will be split into two groups to tour the facility, with attendees not on tour welcome to grab a bite, a drink, and chat with other Twin Cities environmental professionals on Urban Growler’s beautiful patio. Space is very limited!
