How did Redfin initially connect with WEN?

An agent shared WEN’s website with our sponsorships team last year. After researching the organization, we determined it was a good fit.

What was the motivation to become an annual sponsor of WEN?

Redfin chose to sponsor WEN because our company values sustainability and supporting women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.

Protecting the environment is paramount to the health of our communities. Redfin app developers help bring sustainability to the front and center of the homebuying process by allowing users to sort homes by “green” features like LEED certification and solar energy. Every year we use Redfin home data to calculate the neighborhoods with highest occurrence of green features (cities like Chicago, IL and Raleigh, NC have come out on top). We are sponsoring WEN because of our commitment to highlight environmental issues.

Redfin is committed to a fair workplace. Every year publish a Diversity Report and data on how we pay men and women. As proponents of women in STEM, we support the women of WEN and the work they are doing towards sustainability.
